Received 2 Elephant Garlic bulbs, they arrive on time. They were well packaged.
A few days later, when I broke one of the bulbs apart for planting, one clove was rotten and molded.
The outer covering did not show any signs of an issue. All of the other cloves are ok.

Just back from Tuscany and looked everywhere for Elephant garlic ( aka aglio) Wanted to recreate the simple and delicious Pici all’ aglione. Shocked we found it here and it was delivered promptly. Perfectly fresh. We will order again and again.
Only two of the 4 bulbs came with mold, and only on a small area, I removed the sections, here is hoping they still grow. Aside from a horrid wet box, and moldy smell and the actual mold spots, the bulbs are really big, and I’m excited to see how they may grow.
I planted this per instructions along with other garlic and not a single one of these sprouted. The ones from another place did sprout. Indicates that these were no good.
If I can grow this Garlic-ANYONE Can.
I planted them by the included directions and checked on them a few days later. They had all been dug up (and eaten?) by the grey squirrels. No sign of the cloves except for holes in the dirt and a few pieces of paper skin. Otherwise they were great. Large, easy to work with and fresh.
