For years I have purchased the Great Value Brand of unsalted butter. For a spell, the butter had a different taste to it, like it was old or had refrigerator burn. This was immediately after purchase and unwrapping it and using it right away. Then it started tasting good again with the next pound. Recently, it started having the same unpleasant taste to it, again newly purchased and immediately used. Wondering if you have switched suppliers or…. Normally I love it!
Excellent product and, of course, at Walmart prices.
Missing this item as well. so 2 things charged and missing, eggnog and butter. the things I need most for holiday cooking and serving..

Surprised I liked Walmarts butter. I pass on a lot of great value products but it works well and has good flavor. Price is great
The ruler that measures how many tablespoons of butter you are slicing off doesn’t match the length of the actual stick. How are you supposed to get the proper amount of butter? It has been like this on all of our recent GV butter purchases.
Order was late. Did not bring groceries up the ramp to front door of house.
When I first opened it, it had a strong smell like movie theater popcorn butter. I made sugar cookies with it and it had that fake buttery taste. I wondered if it had artificial flavoring in it, I read the box and besides cream it says it has natural flavors. Whatever is in it as a flavor is not good, it should not need flavoring added, natural, or otherwise.
Substitution was acceptable but was not put in my bags.
