I love country crock. It spreads nicely and has a pleasant taste. I enjoyed the taste of the original recipe and now the taste of the new simplier recipe. I have bought both the original Country Crock and the added calcium/vitamin D versions in the past, but prefer the added calcium/vitamin D for me & my young kiddos. I was hoping for a better flavor – there’s NO flavor to this. I’ve tried it on pancakes, toast and even in a veggie dish. I was expecting some sort of taste – a margarine like flavor – I didn’t expect a butter. flavor but I know there’s no added flavors – and very low salt. It was like – why even put it on my food? I am a dairy-free eater and baker. I was raised on Country Crock butter, and I am so happy that the ingredients are great for the environment and for me. It’s a soft spread, great for warm toast and the softer sweet loaves and muffins that other spreads don’t do well on. I absolutely love the hint of salt on this spread, the extra calcium and the fact it’s also gluten free!! You can’t taste the calcium like you can in other foods. I am very proud I chose a great brand and will continue using this. Now that I’ve tried the calcium, I’ll definitely be buying this blend again. Thank you! I really like the flavor and the way it’s a soft spread! The softness makes it easy to use and melts fast over hot foods, toast, vegetables! It measures well and so far all the ways I’ve used in a recipe have worked and tasted great! I’m happy to see it’s made with pure ingredients. I chose the with calcium and vitamin D because it’s nice to have that added in in case your body is in need. Makes me feel like I’m giving my family a good product!

I was very surprised when I tasted this new and improved Country Crock with calcium spread. I used it to cook some vegetable kabobs and they turned out great. The flavor was very close to butter and I could really tell that the product has changed because the last time that I used it which was several years back the flavor was not close to butter at all. I would definitely recommend trying it especially with half the calories in the same serving of butter. I received a free coupon to try this product in exchange for my honrst opinion. I received a complimentary coupon from Influenster to get a free container of country crock spread with calcium. I had the option to choose between the original and the calcium and I chose the latter because I have a vitamin D deficiency. My mom used to get country crock when I was younger but I always preferred real butter. It’s been at least a decade since I’ve had it and I remember it being greasy and tasting fake so I was interested in seeing if it tasted any better than I remembered, especially since it said “new and improved” on the packaging. I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely won’t replace butter in my household but I did substitute it for butter in some of my dishes like homemade baked Mac and cheese and I couldn’t taste the difference. The taste was more noticeable on toast. It was just ok though. Nothing to write home to mom about but I think if you’re looking for a great alternative to butter, this is a good choice. I ordered a 15 ounce tub of butter, which is not very big already, and it came with hardly any product in it.
Don’t like butter substitutions
didnt receive this, order was incomplete.. but, am not upset about it. God bless whoever got the items that I didnt receive of my order.
