I soak these overnight and add to my Instapot cooker for 2 hrs with 8 oz of water. I cook 2 pkgs of smoked sausage and add while letting it rest after cooking for about 10 mins. Great filling meal that always has plenty to go around and my kids love it!
Just bought out of curiosity, but became really impressed at the end product. Instead of ham or polish sausage, used thick cut bacon. Soaking the beans is not needed if cooking in an electric pressure cooker. Just perform a quick soak method (1 or 2 minutes in pressure cooker mode followed by a pressure quick release), rinse and cook again in the pressure cooker for about 15 minutes follwed by a pressure natural release. After that, add the seasoning, lemon juice and diced tomatoes in sauté mode for about 5 add’l minutes. Total time: about 1 hour.
I bought a bag of these when I got an instant pot pressure cooker then bought eight more bags before our stay at home went into effect. DID NOT USE THE SEASONING PACKET in soup but saved it as a cajun rub for meat. For soup I used 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, salt, pepper, herbs, a 14oz can diced tomatoes, 2 carrots, 1 onion, a little green pepper, chicken soup base and a smoked sausage link. DELICIOUS!!! and could easily be made as vegan by using veggie base and no sausage.
These are the best bean soup package around. Love them and so do my family. Glad I got the four pack since we are are safe in place during this Covid19
I use these for SO many different soups. I discard the packet and use then for chili, stuffed pepper soup, and minestrone. The options are endless. They are an easy slow cooker option for me.

Delicious!!! Slightly Spidey but just the right AMT. To taste delicious. Cornbread and rice make it a meal plus need sausage sliced and cooked with it.
This should have a negative rating. The bag was blown and should not have been. I threw it out. Very disappointing!

Kosher, great bean soup for sabbath. It’s easily customizable , you can add in beef and corn, etc. This makes a good amount of food so you can heat it up later as left overs. It’s a nice flavour, the more food added, it needs more seasoning. I add extra cayenne.
