Delicious and fast on the go meal
I lived in the UK for a few years, now based in Singapore but they don’t have Uncle Ben’s here, so luckily found this seller that shipped super quickly and of course the rice is great quality as expected.
I love the convenient preparation package and if you prepare well taste great with a main course
I just found this flavor within the last year. It is super quick to make when I dont have the time to cook.

I love this product, it’s so very fast and easy to prepare. In the microwave for under 2 minutes, I add some hot sauce and sour cream and I have a meal for 1. I always have at least 1 pouch on hand at all times, if I want it to remain meatless I can or can fix a quick protein to add to it. It’s not spicy, but spiced as any good red beans and rice should be, and a smoky flavor. Try it for yourself and see if you like it as much as I do.
I live in the mountains in a small town. We have one place to get food. When trying to purchase this product at the grocery store it was as hard as a rock, meaning it is not fresh and is very old. How could I buy it where I live so when I bought it from Amazon it was fresh and very good. No Old Food Here.
Tastes horrible, nothing like rice. Sickeningly, tarry odour…like phenol or engine lubricant.
Buyers Beware. I received only 1 pack instead of 12 packs.
90 seconds in the microwave. Perfectly proportioned rice to seasonings. Easy, no mess and rice ready in 90 seconds!
I was disappointed in this product. It didn’t have any taste really, but a slight chemical taste. It was trying to be fried rice, but just tasted like like it was sitting in a plastic pouch for way too long. I ate it, but I will not buy it again it’s not worth it.
So much cheaper to purchase as a pack than to purchase locally either as singles or as a box of 12. Plus, with free delivery, my life just got so much easier.
Note on taste. The Basmati rice seems to pick up LESS of the plastic container taste when heated than the Jasmine rise version does. I like it much better and not only does it cook like it is suppose to, but it is wonderful to mix in with stew or soup to make for more meals than just by itself. Wonderful for needing make quick meals at work.
