Nice package
I like how quickly these beans cook without having to soak them. 4-5 hours simmering and they are done.
The beans are probably good but they arrived with the bag open and some beans missing. It looks like someone cut through both the outer and inner bags with a box cutter. I had beans falling out of the package and onto the porch and floor as I brought the package into the house.
The beans are great! This particular order however showed up in a soft pouch and upon opening it (without use of a knife) we found the bottom corner of the bag had been cut open, like someone used scissors and cut a rectangular portion off the bag seal, exposing about a 3/4 inch section of the bag’s insides and about a 1/4 cup of beans had escaped into the outer shipping envelope. Didn’t take a pic or return the item as we figured we’ll inspect the beans and do a long boil anyway so the risk felt low.
Great value! I cook these often and theres almost never leftovers!
