Do not order for pick up if you aren’t planning on using it that day. I bought this on sep 17th and it’s completely molded inside and out on the 21st. I wasn’t going to leave a review but unfortunately it isn’t the first incident. Other produce have already began to spoil every time I order pick up @ Wenatchee Walmart.
Not everyone has the time to run to the store the day of needing/wanting or to spend $35 minimum plus delivery charge.

As I was excited to get the only fruit that I ordered as everything was unavailable this cantaloupe was delivered to me I don’t even know if you can call this a cantaloupe…..once again disappointed with my Walmart delivery this is getting to be a regular thing unfortunately I wouldn’t even have given this a star but I had to rate something.

Skin has patches of soft skin (which would mean spoiled inside). It’s probably been an old stock as it looks passé. I didn’t want to open as you may require it returned and I can’t keep a spoiled melon . Sorry but tomatoes were also soft and passé, delivered more but mostly are not fresh .

How does Walmart pick out fruit in this condition for a delivery order? I guess no one wanted to buy it in their store so sending it out on a delivery was their solution as opposed to throwing it in the garbage. Damage indentations all over it and undersized as well.

Salmonella recall on Malichita Rudy Brand Cantaloupes both pre cut and whole fruit.
Purchase date would have been between Oct. 10 to Nov. 3 2023
    Sku No. 4050
Unsure what brand Walmart uses as there was no sticker on my cantaloupe from my curbside personally but
PLEASE BEWARE, CHECK YOUR FRUIT, IF UNSURE THROW IT AWAY. Salmonella poisoning is a very serious thing especially in children: please be safe y’all!
You can check out more info from the CDC website here:

**Note: Pictures attached are of the specific product stickers that were recalled.

This was a pick up order. 1st of all how dare you people have the nerve to bag a black moldy cantaloupe!! It was very soft and you can see the mold on it already, why would you give anyone that kind of product I know the young people don’t care they’re just doing their job but use your common sense.

I purchased 2 pieces last 3/24/2024 and picked up on 3/25/2024. One was rotten and the other was barely eatable. So, maybe next time I pick up my order, I have to check before driving away from store. Then I have to return it back right away.

Rotten spot that my thumb punctured through when I picked it up to put it away right after it was delivered.

Walmart stand behind their marketing on sweet cantalope for delivery. However, the delivery service could be improved in packaging to avoid bumps fruits being bruised upon arrival to its destination.

Something is wrong with this fruit. This fruit was gross and droopy/mushy, and has some kind of gross watery stuff pouring out of it🤮
