Its flavor is delicate and the size of the grain also counts for a good feast. It’s getting pricey though. Great rice!
Trying to reduce my sodium intake so I stopped salting my rice, so I wanted to invest in some more flavorful rice. Checked r/India and saw this was popular so I gave it a try.
Amazing flavor! The strong, nutty taste towards the end makes having plain rice without a dash of salt fine.
Aroma, flavor and very long grain
I use this for any dish that is served with rice. It is delicious and cooks ups very nicely in 20 minutes with a 10 minute rest. The first time you have it you will think this is broken pasta as the grains are so long.
this makes some nice looking rice–long and frilly when cooked, and for the educated pallette(?) is probably the cat’s meow, but alas, with my pauper’s tastes, the fragrance is offputting, and simply soaking and replacing the water does not reduce its tang. perhaps a more thorough washing will work, but right now, i don’t look forward to consuming the rest of this stuff….
