Whole conventional avocados are a versatile and nutrient-dense fruit that can be enjoyed in many different recipes. They are perfect for barbecues and outdoor gatherings with friends and family. Avocados can be used in Mexican food items like tacos or burritos, as appetizers like avocado crostini, or in a fresh guacamole or avocado dip. They provide unsaturated “good” fats and almost 20 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. When selecting avocados, look for a dark green to nearly black skin color, a bumpy texture, and they should yield to gentle pressure without feeling mushy. They are creamy, mild, and light. Enjoy all kinds of healthy foods and recipes at your next gathering with friends and family.

First off it’s Walmart so the produce is already questionable at best, took a risk ordering again, not to my surprise they chose the tiniest avocado humanly possible to charge me $1.18 for. Over a dollar for a avocado that is half the size of a regular one. SMH. It’s smaller than my palm and I have small hands. I’ve held Goose eggs bigger than this.

Unfortunately Walmart doesn’t offer their customers to insert instructions. I wanted green ripe avocados for a specific dish I wanted to prepare and it was rotten. Anyone else eat rotten brown avocados?
So I’m stuck with forking out the money to Walmart to their financial gain and it’s my loss of food and money I spent for online ordering.
Instacart offers customers to insert a comment per item on what they are looking for to prevent things happening like this. It’s a more efficient way to communicate to your shopper.
Walmart grocery shopping is difficult because you NEVER know the condition of your produce until you receive it or get ready to prepare your meal for the day.
What really sucks is those who can’t drive, nor leave their home to return items don’t have an option for a refund (even though “refund” is an option to select but in reality it’s just a return requiring you to physically arrive to their store… what an inconvenience) it’s all returns requiring the customer to drive to a Walmart and wait in a undesirably long line.
Where is the customer service chat for assistance? Nowhere.
Good job Walmart for lacking resources for your customers.

I did not order small. the four avocados delivered were quite small. The pit was large. For $2 each…..too small, I wouldn’t have chose these for anyone. They look so big and impressive on this page, don’t they. I didn’t know they grew avocados this small to sell on the open market. Now they want me to return them in person with my withered bananas….to do what I will do. Trash them and start over. Photo of fruit is a screen shot.

Our order was delivered to the wrong Apt. Our Apt number which is part of the address we have on file is 307. The driver delivered it to 103. I guess my question is, do they know how to read, or did they just deliver it to the easiest Apt? We’ll never know because Walmart delivery doesn’t give you the driver’s phone number so you can give directions if needed, or any other reason. This is not the first time this has happened. We have Waltmart , I’m not sure why since they still mess up our orders.

I did not receive the correct quantity of the product, there were 9 and 2 arrived, something that seems to me they should be attentive to the quantity that the client specifies

It’s nice that these avocados are fresh and firm, and they usually have a flavorful, creamy flesh, which we really love.
We typically buy them a few days before we plan to use them, so it gives them a little more time to ripen.
Unfortunately, we’ve discovered that we’ve been wasting money by buying them individually. These are the exact same size and quality as the Small Hass Avocados that are sold in 5-6 count bags. (If you look at the photo, the avocado on the left is the Hass that’s sold individually, and the one on the right is from the bag.) For the price of 2 individual avocados, you can get a whole bag!
We won’t be buying them individually anymore.

The store should be discarding old bad produce and not pushing it on online pickup orders. The avocados they gave me are not even edible. Very disappointing. Now I have to make a trip to a different store with fresher produce tomorrow. I wanted to make a recipe tonight that called for avocados and now I cannot.

Avocados need to be ripe when they are picked out. I bought Salad things to make tonight. Obviously they need to be ripe for dinner. Younger ppl need to be shown how to pick out fresh items. Green and hard are not ripe

I’ve decided not to include avocados in a curbside pickup order. Of the 4 I ordered, one is edible. The other 3 are terrible! Whoever picked them did not know anything about how to buy avocados.

How bad is inventory control when instead of the avocados i ordered as part of my grocery delivery instead get “not available”. I call shenanigans! Not an avocado in the entire super center but the app let me order. Must’ve been a Thursday afternoon run on the avocado display. Shenanigans!
