1sttime ordered everything was great. Fresh and great flavor. 2nd time all the pears were rotten. I gave them another chance and was very pleased.
Recently fractured my knee cap, and could not get out to the store for fresh fruit. This is too pricey to order all the time, but I was dying for some fresh fruit, so had to splurge. The oranges and apples were delicious. The pears came a little too ripe, as I like some fruit still crunchy, and these weren’t. Nonetheless, the box filled the bill when I was craving fresh.
Perfect! Exactly as described variety of fruit. Fresh and in great condition. Would work great as a gift. Carefully packed in a very pretty box. The fruit is delicious! Highly recommend!
Fruit was over ripened and not edible. It was shipped from California to Kentucky and then New Mexico. New Mexico is a lot closer to California than Kentucky.
We purchased 2 different orders from this vendor. One box, the fruit was all acceptable,
very delicious and no issues with any of the fruit.
The 2nd box, some of the fruit was over ripe and a couple of the apples were bad in the center.
I made a comment to the vendor to advise of the problem with no expectations of anything from them.
I was only wanting to advise them like I would do on a survey or watever.
I received a response from the vendor and there were some questions of how the fruit was handled
ether in transient or after receipt. However they offered either a refund or a new replacement of
the fruit. I chose replacement.
The new box of fruit arrived 4 days later, It was excellent! Every single piece was some
of the best fruit we have ever had.
No matter what product you are selling, especially perishable foods, the odds are that something
will go wrong at some time. It is how the problem is dealt with that determines customer satisfaction.
This vendor chose to rectify the problem at their expense as a way to stand behind their product!
It is sad that some people would falsely complain just to get something extra. That is sad and
also stealing. Hopefully that does not happen too often.
We are a very happy customer and will definitely be ordering future products from them. Also,
I am new to online ordering this year and this experience has not only given me confidence
that I am secure using this method of shopping but it is so much easier.
I discovered Golden State Fruit quite by accident over the holiday season. I wanted to send fruit to friends in the Midwest and most other companies I use for floral and gift deliveries charged an arm and a leg for rather meager looking baskets. I decided to search Amazon on a whim, and Golden State Fruit looked like a good deal, and what I ordered was very well received. This latest order was to the Southeast, and it not only arrived ahead of schedule, the recipients were delighted! I will absolutely continue to use Golden State Fruit as my preferred fruit basket company for out-of-state delivery, and would recommend them first and foremost to anyone and everyone!
My friend said the fruit is delicious. I was very excited as I have never used a company through Amazon for a gift box. No shipping costs–yah! So happy that she is so happy. Thank you for doing such a great job. I won’t forget.
I was looking forward to fresh sweet flavored fruit. The box arrived and sat on our porch for hours before we discovered it. When I opened the box the fruit did not look anything like it did in the advertisement. I ate a couple pieces and the fruit had no flavor. The apples were green and bruised and the pears had holes in them. I paid way too much for this item. I could have purchased better tasting fruit at my local store for a fraction of the cost. Don’t let the pictures fool you. What you receive is nothing like it. I would love to get my money back. What a waste!
