Every time I get salmon from whole foods I pull out at least one bone. Everything else is great about it, I just have to take the extra time in the prep stage to check and remove bones
Buen sabor y fresco
It is probably because it’s peak king salmon season but this salmon was sublime. Seared on either side, med-rare. Minimal seasoning. Gorgeous salmon.
My fillets were not cut into portion sizes. Better to buy the per pound item and save a little money.
When I have picked this out myself in store it has looked perfect and been delicious. More recently, I have included it in a delivery order and a pickup order, and each time the fish didn’t look great and after being cooked, it had an odd taste to it as if it had been marinated in wine. The peculiar flavor was worrying and I ended up throwing most of it out.
A rip off. Very disappointed and I want to report this as price gauging.
