These bulbs of Elephant garlic were in pristine condition and nicely wrapped individually in netting. Can’t post a picture, because I already planted the 7 enormous cloves I got off the 2 bulbs. I retained the smallest clove from each bulb because I wanted to grow the biggest possible, but both cloves are bigger than the largest clove off a normal garlic bulb. 5 stars!!
Bulbs when delivered had a couple of rotting cloves which was disappointing, but the majority were in good shape. Planted in fall, and garlic is growing vigorously with thick stalks and thick foliage and overall, very healthy looking. Delicous scapes and cant wait for the full harvest. Best growing variety of the 4 that I planted. Would buy again.
I like elephant garlic because of its mildness and you don’t have to be fooling with a lot of smaller pieces to get the amount of garlic that you need. The term huge in the advertising though, I question. The bulbs are large, but it is elephant size garlic. Smile!
The bulbs came all messed up and you have no recourse. Do not buy
Might be good for planting but the flavor seemed off to me. Big bulbs.
