The colour in product description is red, what I actually received is yellow like a colour of ghee. Since I don’t know what it is will not eat it ,no returns = money wasted

… this is probably one of the most effective oils to keep your brain healthy… I mix a half a teaspoon with a half a teaspoon of ‘cold pressed’ lemon flavoured cod liver oil and take it once a day with a meal…The red palm oil contains a special form of vitamin E that is well researched for its health benefit…leave on the shelf out of sunlight…as well , just note, don’t cook with this oil ( but you can ) , or olive oil…this particular product is produced with cold pressing to preserve it’s health and immune stimulating benefit…and I feel it is a top quality product…unfortunately, the delivery seems to take around 3 weeks…but because of it’s size, it will last for around 6 months…which makes it very inexpensive…

It arrived on time. The jar was well sealed. Package well. I have tried many companies with red palm oil. But I’m happy with this one. For the reasons, good quality oil, it’s sustainable, Fair Trade. The environment is a thing they are paying attention to. Also they care about fair pay for workers. I bought this, not to cook with. But to, use in my hair and skin. From now on, this we’ll be the company I go to for the red palm oil.

I can tell it’s quality, but I can’t compare to any other brand to know if it’s great in color. It’s good though!

Palm oil is essential for some Brazilian dishes and I was having a hard time to find it in Canada. The consistence is like a paste, different from what I was used to (in Brazil it really oil-liquid), however, once heated it dissolves to the right consistence. It was the first time I was trying to make the traditional dish called “Vatapá” and you know what? It turned out DELICIOUS. I am glad that I ordered 2 jars because definitely I will use it a lot. I am very happy with this product.

Worked great for my Brazilian Moqueca dish. I like adding it to rice also.

Lot’s of dishes that benefit. Stir fried rice with more flavor – use it.

Great product, did wonders for my parrots. When I received it, i guess it wasn’t sealed properly because it had leaked all over.

*PLEASE* buy it from a company like this, that promotes sustainable agriculture and doesn’t harm rainforests or orangutan habitats in the making of the oil. As an added incentive, it’s just as good, if not better than any other red palm oil out there. It’s a nice, healthy oil loaded with antioxidants that works particularly well for frying eggs in at a relatively low temperature.

Been a while since ordering. But wanted to leave a review. First, the product arrived in perfect condition. Still sealed tightly, and with formed cushion to protect the product. Arrived on time and as described. – To me, the taste is more neutral/greesie, with a small grit to it. But hey, I use it to add to other things like blended drinks. And add extra calarioes, etc. In my case I use a little as I go. And I can understand how shipping such a product can be a issue. While making sure it arrives in good/original condition, etc. – But I have no problem with the texture or color; and being the first time using such a product.

This was my first experience with red palm oil, and I have to say – I like it! I make popcorn with coconut oil, and then had the red palm oil and butter melted together, which I poured over it. A touch of salt, and I had some really good popcorn!

I tasted it right out of the jar, with a spoon, and it tasted smooth and pleasant. Last night, I made some buttermilk and teff pancakes, and cooked them in it. The oil smoked a lot, but I had it on a very high heat – simply because I was trying to get finished before my husband’s burger was done.
    They tasted great!

I like how this is obtained, without destroying any natural habitats, and am pleased with the taste of it. I can hardly wait to use it to make some scrambled eggs, as I am sure the color will intensify the natural look of the finished product.

First off, I didn’t buy this product for cooking but rather for my soap making. I substitute the red palm for the white palm oil and it turns my soap a beautiful yellow color. The doctor I work for recommends this oil to him patients to take daily by simply swallowing a few teaspoons. Why? Because it contains all the essential components in the vitamin E family in the most natural state you can find. It has a long shelf life if stored in a dark, cool place.
