Bought 2 packages and ate 3 of them. They’re fresh, have a great snap and tastes great. Says it’s hardwood smoked but the smokiness is pretty light. Then again I’ve always enjoyed deep smoke flavor. I broke both packages down into 5 stick vacuum sealed bags with oxygen absorber packs for my preps. I’m not a total prepper, but have been bitten by the bug since 2020 when you know who took office and finding rolls of toilet paper was like finding a golden unicorn. 2023 was not good and 2024 is shaping up to be much worse. I figure it’s better to be prepared for as much as I can. It seems like a small need to buy these meat sticks but may come a time where these will hit the spot when shelves are empty
Edit: purchased 3 more packs this week. Tasted one out of each bag and don’t need to add to the quality part of my earlier review. They’re delicious. As before I broke the bags down to 5 and 6 per vacuum sealed bags with oxygen 500 mil absorbing packs.
Since my last review, I’ve been hearing of food shortages in the US happening sometime this year. Crazy to think that could happen but with all the processing plants burnt down it is a real possibility.
I’ve purchased these over and over again and can’t get over how high quality and tasty these lean meat sticks are. Would highly recommend and they store really well and it’s a block in the fridge after opening.
Okay I’ve read the “taste bad” reviews and I disagree, these are pretty darn good. As others have said they’re not greasy, not too moist and the smoked meat aroma and taste is there. I’ll order them again.
I like these and they’re good for the price however sometimes the quality can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes i order them and theyre fantastic while other times it almost tastes like a different product and only half as good. Bit hit or miss so 4 stars from me
Great flavor, usually fresh – I’ve ordered this product a number of times and it is usually very fresh. I did have one batch that seemed a little tougher to chew than others, may be variation in the recipe, or may have been a little older product. Either way, not a problem. A product like this is expected to have a longer shelf life, so there will be some variation as it ages, I expect. We see the same thing with similar products at convivence stores every day. Nice touch that they include waxed paper sacks so you can repackage a handfull of the beef sticks for a car ride, lunch box, sharing with a friend, etc.
We love these sausage sticks! They weigh 1 lb(16 ounces) and have 36 sticks. They come with 15 paper bags, but I unpack them into a quart sized ziplock with the oxygen absorber and keep them in the fridge. I love the tillamook brand sausage sticks, but I find these to be the best price point of what they sell. Everyone in my family loves these and they make for a convenient snack. Two sticks have 9g of protein! The flavor is great and I really like the portion size. About the size of string cheese which I like to pair together. They have a nice snap when you bite.
I love Tillamook brands. But these are not as good as their beef jerky. I probably won’t purchase anymore of these.
These beef sticks rock! Grab and go with it snack that won’t spoil or make a mess. With 38 sticks in a bundle they’re the best deal around.
Forget individual wrapped products- just stand them in a candy jar to reach when you need a snack to go.
