I purchased these to plant in my garden, and even all of them had the growth bud, only 3 germinated, the other 3 are still in the ground but nothing is happening.
Planted and produced lovely plants. Haven’t harvested any yet.
UPDATED 4/2/22: The seller finally reached out and refunded my order…For that, I increased my rating because they stood by their policy.
I waited about 2-3ish months to write this. Nothing ever sprouted from these roots and they arrived very sad looking. I contacted the seller and no response after almost 2ish weeks..You’re better off finding fresher ones at your local store.
The box I received contained three healthy looking rhizomes, each had three or four buds. So far I have planted two of the (within the last week) so they have yet to sprout. I have them in a 10 gallon fabric grow bag. I may cut up the third one into three pieces and plant those in something smaller to start them and see how that works. If I remember I will update this review with my results.

Was so excited to grow ginger, but not a single bulb grew. Very disappointed.
So I bought these and actually forgot about them. I came across them and holy cow, 3 months after getting them they were not rotted, and had already started having shoots come from them. If you get these and they are shriveled up or molded no worries cause they will still come up.
The ginger arrived safe and in excellent condition! Your pkg was exactly as needs to be with fresh rhizomes, in small box with straw.
