I love the product! The maker even signed a hand-written note to the product. Customer service at its best. I enjoy Salo and this product is the closest that I have found for that taste. I also plan to make salami with this fatback.

It looks completely different on picture and in reality. There is just 1/4 inch slices. I feel cheated.
I got the pork belly yesterday. It wasn’t shipped with dry ice, so it was warm when I opened the package. It looked like there wasn’t any meat. It was all skin and fat. I didn’t feel safe
using it and ended up throwing it away.
Now this is the pork belly I remember from Romania 🇷🇴 It tastes nearly identical to what you’d get in Eastern Europe. It ships from Canada 🍁, but the rind has a stamp indicating that it comes from a butchery in Brooklyn, New York – go figure. It arrived room temperature, because the ice packs had thawed. That doesn’t bother me much though because it’s pure fat and doesn’t spoil easily. Overall, worth the price for such a rare product.
Something fabulous . Heavenly taste. Heaven in your mouth. The whole family, we eat slices smeared with honey, for breakfast and dinner. I don’t even need bread, I just drink milk. I melted a piece of onion, apple and pineapple for spreading bread for a baby. Fights bad cholesterol. It stabilizes blood pressure and treats memory loss, which I have experienced myself. It makes me immune to the virus that has attacked me. I really recommend it to everyone. Great delivery and quality.
I was looking for a good «salo” for long time! I found it. Soft, not chewable with nice eatable skin.
I got this for my mother. She complained porkbelly was hard to find any more and if you did find it, it was so salty you could not eat it. She really liked this meat.
