Not creamy and not sweet. Vanilla flavor is subtle. The ideal non-dairy almond substitution for skim milk.
First, I find this bridges the gap between daily use and hurricane preparedness in South Florida. I normally buy more inexpensive 1/2 gallons (refrigerated oat, almond, coconut, etc. ) at Aldi’s. But for one person with multiple milks and drinks, it is sometimes hard to finish such in the limited time given for expiration, once opened. Not so with these smaller containers. A few hot chocolates, protein/supplement mixes, or cereal use, and they are headed to the recyclables bin. The vanilla taste is very mild, but good. I store a few with other shelf stable milks near the emergency food containers. But finding these smaller to store in one’s fridge and surprised myself by going through them faster than I expected to. They mix very well with the previously mentioned additions. You may just want to stock up in anticipation of a climate change emergency (depressingly increasing). But I’ll bet you will dig into this stash for recipes and daily use. I usually buy the six pack.

I love the option of having these boxes of milk as a staple in my pantry. They are great to have when you run out of regular milk. I use them in my protein smoothies and it tastes just fine. In addition, they are low in calories, which is a bonus!
i have been drinking blue diamond almond breeze and decided to try this because it was cheaper and i am glad i did. The taste is much better. i always add artificial sweetner to it and it has a really good taste. i am switching to this brand

My husband eats a lot of cereal and I looked for milk boxed this way- and all I could do was find almond milk in a box (that you could keep out of the fridge that doesn’t go bad quickly). Despite the fact it is almond milk and unsweetened- my husband loved it! He eats all his cereal with this almond milk and wants more.
While I think it is good to drink regular milk- we eat a lot of milk (or drink it) so it is good to switch up. The calcium in regular milk is very important but the benefits of almond milk are also good- and the shelf life is so much better when boxed like this…
Google and lifeline.com say that almond milk is the third best milk to drink (after hemp and oat milk), with cow milk being the third best. So- almond milk is always a good variation in a diet as one thing and too much of it- never a good thing. Variety- is the best in life. You should make sure you eat that way too!
